Excel Spreadsheet Assignment

1.   Create a spreadsheet to keep track of basketball statistics.  Include the following:

*a title

*8 players

*2 pt. goals made & attempted, and a formula or function showing the total points acculumulated from 2 pt. goals.

*3 pt. goals made & attempted, and a formula or function showing the total points acculumulated from 3 pt. goals.

*freethrows made & attempted

*total Points for individual players resulting from 2-pointers, 3-pointers, and freethrows.  Use a formula or function

*rebounds

*steals

*assists

*turnovers

*team totals for all categories at bottom of spreadhseet - use functions

*Save yourself time, don't forget to use the fill command!

*Put in pretend scores.  Please make them realistic.

*You also need to include a pie chart that shows the points scored by each individual player.  Make your chart easy to read, add color, change font sizes, etc. and fit on one piece of paper in landscape orientation.

*Earn extra credit by adding shooting percentages or averages, etc.

*Be creative!  Use text formatting, color and borders to enhance your spreadsheet.

*Print 2 copies in landscape orientation - be sure it all fits on one page.  One copy should show all the functions and formulas.
